Fade returns to the studio following successful "Summer of Greed" tour

Fade has returned to the studio to record their next release following a successful  “Summer of Greed” debut tour. The tour, which wrapped up in January, promoted Fade’s debut EP Greed, released in 2005 through Zero Music. Greed, the first single off the EP, featured on the Association of Independent Records 2005 rock sampler as well as the BLU FM 2005 Compilation CD. Fade plans to release a new single later in the year.

Fade "Summer of Greed" tour kicks off Friday Nov 25 at The Cat & Fiddle

Fade kicks off their “Summer of Greed” tour on Friday November 25 at The Cat & Fiddle Hotel, Balmain. The tour promotes Fade’s debut EP Greed, released earlier this year through Zero Music. Greed, the first single off the EP, featured on the Association of Independent Records 2005 rock sampler as well as the BLUFM 2005 Compilation CD.

While the theme of the tour is Greed, the message is anything but. Greed is about the pursuit of money at the expense of happiness. The song speaks to the insatiable desire in society today to consume and the trappings of material possessions, often to the detriment of family and community. Delivering its message with a unique zest, Greed is a fast, up-tempo rock song with powerful vocals, a catchy melody and strong keyboards.

Fade will play a series of shows in Sydney before heading up the coast.
